Rector's Column
East Window
The East Window is from the Kemp studio - it has the recognisable castle and wheatsheaf logo - and shows the crucified Lord in glory surrounded by the angels of heaven. In the bottom middle panel, St Michael slays the dragon another symbol of the destruction of evil.

Rood Screen and Cross by Lorimer
The Rood screen and Cross, designed by the Scottish Architect Sir Robert Lorimer, were gifted as a memorial to those who died for their country in the Great War.

West Window
The West Window has four panels showing from left to right St Paul carrying the sword of the Gospel, St Peter carrying the Keys of the Kingdom. St Andrew carrying his X-shaped cross, and St John carrying a poisoned chalice which he was made to drink.

This I have done for you. What will you do for me
Detail from the East window. The crucified Lord is shown as glorious over his kingdom.
